How much pocket money should my husband give me monthly if he has a take home $3500 every month?

my husband works in the I.T sector in the U.S with an h-1 working visa and earns around 4-5 k a month and the net take home after taxes and car lease installments,utilities,apartment rent,groceries,car insurance etc turns out to be $1500-2000 approx. i am a stay at home mom on a dependant visa which doesnt allow me to work.i dont have an ongoing activity like going to clubs or studying.i am pretty much a very domestic person with literally minimum expense of food and clothes.we have a 4 year old daughter who doesnt go to school yet.apart from daily groceries my husband seldom spends on me and my daughter.after arguing for 3 years he has started giving me $ 300 as my disposable pocket money for me and my daughter.i still think its not enough.what do u guys think? am i being unreasonable? or is he giving us too less.
