DOES WALKING 20,000 steps a day at any speed help me lose bellyfat?

Im wondering bc I'm a really active kid Im 20 years old and play alot of bball at the park,go for a long walk each day, and a bunch of smaller walks throughout the day ie dog,maybe at the mall and then I try to jump rope without a rope in my room at night while watching tv in little 1 minute rounds. I'm 5'10 184 lbs so Im not fat or anything, I just would like to have my six pack I had in high school back, so now that I've gotten this pedometer for christmas I've been getting between 20-25K steps a day which I know is alot but alot of it is casual walking on the way to cl and stuff does this still help me lose bellyfat???
