Are saxophones allowed to play in concert bands?

It is not in orchestras, maybe a wind band though. If you are really pionate to learn it you can still join a jazz orchestra. Check out Tad Calcara and the New Deal Swing Band...wonderful performance by them I saw where they played with an orchestra. :)
