Dr. Michael Bermant was abusive and threatening, what actions can I take?

I went to see Michael Bermant plastic surgeon today to see about what to do about severe extra skin due to having twins a year ago. The doctors office is over two hours away and I explained this when I initially emailed him to get information. I obviously know nothing abous plastic surgery so I told him the problem and he sent me information on a tummy tuck, but I knew I'd have to have a consultation to find out what was the best option. I had to pay an $80 co-pay and when I arrived at the doctors I had to fill out paperwork. I'd still like to lose another 15-20lbs and put my ideal weight on the paperwork. I went to the room where he immediately came into the room telling me there is a major problem which he would discuss with me, never looking me in the face or asking me anything. From the get go he was extremely condescending but I figured, he just had a poor bedside manner. He then tells me that based on my desire to lose more weight that it would not be a good time to have surgery and that I should wait. This is after about a 1 minute of him condescendingly asking me to tell him which had more fat, my back or stomach - which by the way he never explained to me! After 3 minutes (I am not exaggerating) he gave me the spiel about waiting which I was actually fine with but I couldn't help but ask - if you already knew this by looking at my paperwork, could you not have told me this over the phone since you made your decision before coming into the room (I was very nice) and he went off the deep end. He started yelling at me and began staring me down. I expected him to say something and was literally stunned that I couldn't talk. I was able to muster out that I appreciated his honesty and was not upset about the information but wondered if it could have been done over the phone. As it was, he did not ask me a single question, give me any options, discuss alternative procedures - NOTHING, I never even asked him for a tummy tuck! Had he said "no, I needed to meet with you in person, etc" I would have been ok with that. He then continued yelling at me saying that I could go to numerous other plastic surgeons and they could do the surgery because he was not going to help me - I have literally blurred out everything else because I was in shock. He then stormed out of the room. He did this all with my husband there who literally sat there dumbfounded and he was so irate that I had to keep him from running into the hall so he would not get arressted. I felt threatened and totally berated. I complained to the staff when I left but I literally could not believe I was treated this way. I would love to know if this warrants a legitimate complaint - I felt it was an abuse of power and downright threatening. It was surreal. Please help - I was so upset and left the office in tears!
